Must-Listen Baroque-Era Classical Pieces (by Composers)

Classical Music has different eras. One of which is the 'Baroque Era' which extends approximately from 1600 to 1750. Music from this era has a unique grand and ornate feeling to it.

Pachelbel - Canon in D major

Yes. He is a baroque composer. And it is hard to find the best version since a lot of the recordings of the piece says something like 'best version' when some of them sounds exactly the same. But here is the best version I have found. Not the most baroque, but yes, the best version.
Vivaldi - Concerto for two Violins in A minor RV522
This has gotten to be more popular than his violin concerto in the same key, RV356 which is a good piece for beginner-intermediates. But I can see how this has become more popular. It has the 'movement' and energy only Vivaldi can create. This is on baroque tuning, which means it's a half step lower than our usual A minor key.

Telemann - Viola Concerto I, TWV 51:G9

At last, viola got it's way to shine above other instruments as a solo instrument in Telemann's Concerto for Viola. This isn't the most baroque recording I found but it IS the best IMO

Corelli - Concerto Grosso op. VI, n.4 (Parte 1)
I just started listening to Corelli  a few weeks ago and I think I've found one of my favorites :D It has that baroque feel and gives you the feeling like you've just had an accomplishment. I think it's perfect for graduation.

Bach - Concerto for two Violins in D Minor, Mov. 1

Not much to say here. This piece is pretty famous though not many knows what it's called

And those are just some composers with great baroque styles. Baroque music is very unique that it is ornamental and the player is free to improvise the music! (as long as the composer does not specifically write how it should be played, of course)
