Vivaldi's Four Seasons

The Four Seasons (or in Italian is Le quattro stagioni Fancier, isn't it?) is a set of four violin concertos by (My favorite composer) Antonio Vivaldi. Composed in 1723, The Four Seasons is Vivaldi's best-known work, and is a pretty popular Baroque music.

For you new violinists out there, this might help

  • Concerto No. 1 in E major "La primavera" (Spring)
    1. Allegro
    2. Largo
    3. Allegro
  • Concerto No. 2 in G minor, "L'estate" (Summer)
    1. Allegro non molto
    2. Adagio
    3. Presto
  • Concerto No. 3 in F major, "L'autunno" (Autumn)
    1. Allegro
    2. Adagio molto
    3. Allegro
  • Concerto No. 4 in F minor,"L'inverno" (Winter)
    1. Allegro non molto
    2. Largo
    3. Allegro

(Props to Wikipedia XD)
If you're new with tempo speeds' fancy names, this might also help
From slowest to fastest is
Largo - Adagio - Allegro - Presto

Also if your starting out on Four seasons, (and have limited ability like me) I recommend starting from
Spring, then autumn, next is summer, and last is winter.

'Summer' does has the fastest tempo in its third movement. But winter needs a lot of finger dexterity.
For a good example of 'summer', search "summer presto sarah chang" or "summer presto I musici" on youtube

But overall, all of them are unique with their own different way. and they are HARD with their own different ways also.
So don't get frustrated if you can't play some of them.
It's really depressing.
I know.
I tried.
