Most Popular Classical Music

Think you have never heard any classical music before and know nothing about it? Think again~! There's classical here and there sometimes. Here are some classical music you might have heard before. Maybe it'll get you closer to classical music =) Happy listening

1.) Mozart's 40th Symphony
2.) A Little Night Music
3.) The Magic Flute Queen of The Aria
One of the more popular Symphonies from Mozart's 'sea of works' He has a LOT of compositions, around 300. His music is known to make people smarter temporarily, know as the 'mozart effect'. Also, did you know he started composing at the age of 5?

4.) Beethoven symphony 9
5.) Beethoven symphony 5
6.) Beethoven Fur Elise

Beethoven is just a great composer, he too deserves 3 spots on my list =) (He's not my favourite composer though)
These three works are quite famous, although the title itself isn't.  Check them out

7.) Bach's Toccata and fugue
Dracula anyone? Yes. This  composition is famous for being dramatically hair-raising. Bach is a composer, organist, harpsichordist, violist, and violinist. Beat that

8.) Vivaldi's Spring
A famous work from my favorite composer, Antonio Lucio Vivaldi. He was called the 'red priest' because of his red hair. He worked some time on a girl's orphanage and create sonatas, cantatas, etc for them. Thus making them known to people around them. Isn't that sweet?

9.) Pachelbel's Canon in D
Perhaps the oldest composer on the list. Pachelbel's canon is very famous, especially the rock version. But the classical version deserves a special place in everybody's heart. Definitely a 2 thumbs up

10.) Tchaikovsky's Lake in the moonlight
Or more commonly known the 'Swan 'Lake' But the part where everybody know and love is called 'Lake in The Moonlight' It has so much emotion :)

  2. That is indeed a great work of vivaldi. However, it's not a very famous work, sadly. Anyway, speaking of vivaldi, try his summer third movement.
